Who fought the Battle Torreón?
A revolutionary army, 8,000 men strong
and led by
Pancho Villa,
fought
against 3,000 troops of the federal army. The feds were led by
The Federals re-conquered Torreon in
December 1913.

About the city:
The name of the city is in reference
to a construction that in each one of their corners there was a
tower that were utilized for the lookouts, built in 1850.
