THE NOBEL PRIZE
 

Alfred Bernhard Nobel died and left a will in which he arranged for the annual Nobel Prize.

If you are awarded the Nobel Prize you will get a medal, a diploma, and some cash. What kind of cash are we talking about?

Ten million Swedish krona. In 2010 that's roughly 1,380,000 USD, or 901,398 British Pounds, or 1,038,000 Euros.


There are six available Nobel Prize categories:

The Nobel Prize in Medicine
