GEORGE BERNARD SHAW
1856 - 1950


GBS was an Irish playwright, born in Dublin.

George's father was George Carr Shaw. His mother was Lucinda Elizabeth Gurly Shaw, who worked as a music teacher.

George had two older sisters.

His early works were a total disaster. But George Bernard Shaw kept at it and was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1925.
