The Treaty of Ciudad Juarez is an important document of the

Ciudad Juárez is a city in northern Mexico, in the state of Chihuahua, at the border to the US, right across from El Paso, Texas. The city is named after  Benito Juárez.

The Treaty of Ciudad Juárez stipulated that

  • The interim president will be Francisco León de la Barra

  • De la Barra is the man in charge and responsible for holding free presidential elections
