In Russian, Paul's full name and title was Grand Duke Pavel Petrovich because he was the son of Peter III.

Paul's mother was Catherine II the Great.

As Paul I, he was Czar of the Russian Empire from 1796 - 1801.

Paul's wife was Grand Duchess Maria Fyodorovna.

Paul was assassinated and his son Alexander I became his successor.

Alexander was Paul's first child. He had more children, Constantine, Nicholas (later Czar Nicholas I), Michael, and Anne.
