Pablo Escandón y Barrón 1857-1926

Pablo Escandón y Barrón had his hands full during the Mexican Revolution.

Pablo was a career soldier and made it all the way to the rank of general.

The good man was an aristocrat and loaded. Pablo Escandón y Barrón was the owner of the haciendas Xochimancas and Atlihuayan. Both haciendas were located in the Mexican state of Morelos.

By the way, Amador Salazar Jiménez, who was Emiliano Zapata's cousin, worked on Pablo's Atlihuayán hacienda.

Pablo Escandón y Barrón was governor of Morelos, beginning his term on March 15, 1909.
