The French invasion of Russia was part of the Napoleonic Wars.

The French Grand Army, with 600,000 soldiers and led by Napoleon, invaded Russia on June 24, 1812.

The Battle of Borodino was part of Napoleon's Russia campaign. This battle was fought September 7, 1812 (August 26 Old Style).
