FIRST NORTHERN WAR
1655 - 1660

Who fought?
Sweden vs. Poland

Swedish Charles X Gustav declared war on Poland. As usual, it was about acquiring more Baltic lands. At first, Sweden got some troops into Poland but Poland was friends with Russia, Denmark, and Austria.

The outcome?
Poland gave up any claims on the Swedish throne.
