The Battle of Leipzig was part of the War of Liberation, which in turn was part of the Napoleonic Wars.

Who fought?
Napoleon and his troops took on the combined forces of Prussia, Russia, Austria, and Sweden. Napoleon and his team lost big.

The Battle of Leipzig was also called the Battle of the Nations.
