Vasco da Gama was a Portuguese navigator and explorer.

In 1497, Vasco di Gama went on his first voyage to the East Indies around the Cape of Good Hope. This first voyage lasted from 1497-1499.

Vasco di Gama's second voyage took from 1502-1503.

Vasco's third trip took place in 1524.
