In full, Wilhelm Richard Wagner

Richard was a German composer. You either loved or hated his works.


RICHARD WAGNER'S FAMILY
In 1836, Richard married Wilhelmine Planer, an actress. When he fell in love with a girl in Switzerland, the two separated.

In 1870, Richard married Cosima von Bülow. Cosima was Franz Liszt's daughter. They had three children.
 

RICHARD WAGNER'S LIFE
Little Richard hated school but loved music and theater. He soon discovered that composition was his thing.

Richard Wagner became involved in the Revolutions of 1848 and had to leave the country for a while.

In 1864 Louis II, king of Bavaria and hardcore Richard Wagner disciple, supported Wagner's every need.

Richard died of heart failure.

BAYREUTH FESTIVAL

The Bayreuth Festival takes place each year in the Festspielhaus of Bayreuth, Bavaria, Germany. Wagner himself arranged and overlooked the building of this arena, which is especially modeled for featuring his works.
