CHARLES XII
1682 - 1718


Charles was king of Sweden from 1697 - 1718, which made the Great Northern War one of his problems.

Charles' father was Charles XI. Charles' mother was Ulrika Eleonora of Denmark.

In 1700, Charles defeated the Russians at Narva. The Russians took it back in 1704.

In 1718, Charles XII gets killed at the siege of Frederickshall.
