The Battle of Thapsus was part of the Roman Civil War.

Thapsus was located in spitting distance of today's Teboulba, Tunisia.

The troops of Gaius Julius Caesar fought the troops of Pompey, which were led by Cato. Caesar's troops won, Cato committed suicide.
