Wallis Warfield Simpson 1896 - 1986
TIME MAGAZINE DECIDED:
Wallis WARFIELD SIMPSON was
Person of the Year 1936

Girls, listen and learn.

Wallis was born in Cockeysville, Maryland, and, stuff happens, got divorced twice. Excellent choice on the third marriage, however. Husband Edward VIII, king of the Brits was married June 3, 1937.

Wallis lived from 1896 until 1986 and had a heck of a fun life, which she spent in France and on the Bahamas.

Here is Wallis and Ed on their wedding day:

WALLIS & EDWARD

Wallis wrote her famous book with the evocative title The Heart Has Its Reasons.
