Britain and the States. Alexander's strategy is to defeat France by
uniting her enemies.
June 21, 1813
Battle of Vitoria. This
battle was part of the
Peninsular War. The
French, led by
Joseph Bonaparte and
Jean Baptiste Jourdan suffered
defeat.
August 26 and 27, 1813
Battle of Dresden. This battle
was part of the
War of Liberation. Napoleon
placed 120,000 men on the battlefield, facing 170,000 Austrians,
Prussians, and Russians. Napoleon won.
October 16-19, 1813
Battle of Leipzig, also called
the Battle of the Nations. This
battle was part of the
War of Liberation.
