Marcel Proust 1871-1922
Marcel was French, officially gay, and a brilliant
novelist.
His main work was
In Search of Lost Time (À la
recherche du temps perdu). A seven-volume piece of fiction.
Early on,
Marcel had troubles with asthma. Dilemma continued when Marcel's
father died in 1903 and his mother followed suit shortly after in 1905.

His mother was Jeanne,
née Weil.
