Augustine was Saint
Augustine of Hippo, Hippo referring to Hippo Regius, a city now
called Annaba and located in Algeria.
The name Augustinians, or
Austins,
refers to people not from Texas, but of the Roman Catholic faith who worship according
to the writings of Saint Augustine.
