HASDRUBAL
? - 207 BC

There were several Hasdrubals. This Hasdrubal was a Carthaginian general.

Hasdrubal's father was Hamilcar Barca. Hasdrubal was Hamilcar's second son.

Hasdrubal's brother was famous Hannibal.

In 218 BC, Hannibal took off to conquer Italy, or so he thought, and left Hasdrubal as commander-in-chief in Spain. Eleven years later, Hasdrubal and his army followed Hannibal and crossed the Alps to provide military aid to his brother.

Having finally arrived in Italy, Hasdrubal died in the Battle of the Metaurus.
