FLEURUS

Fleurus is a town in the south of today's Belgium.

In 1622, the Spanish fought at Fleurus in the Thirty Years' War.

In 1690, the French won a victory here at Fleurus as part of the War of the Grand Alliance.

The French won again in the 1794 Battle of Fleurus, this time as part of the French Revolutionary Wars.
