TREATY OF AIX-LA-CHAPELLE
OCTOBER 18, 1748

 

Aix-la-Chapelle is the French name for the German city of Aachen.


The Treaty of Aix-la-Chapelle, also called the Peace of Aix-la-Chapelle, concluded the War of the Austrian Succession, as well as its various chapters, i.e.

the first and second Silesian War and

the Third French and Indian War,
also called King George's War
