GRAND ALLIANCE

The Grand Alliance was formed in 1689 and followed the League of Augsburg of 1686.

The members of the Grand Alliance were Austria, Bavaria, Brandenburg, Saxony, Savoy, England, the Netherlands, and Spain. Together, they took on the French in the War of the Grand Alliance.
