CHALDEAN EMPIRE
... - 539 BC

The Chaldean Empire, which you can spell Chaldaean Empire as well, is also called the Neo-Babylonian Empire, which in turn is also called the New Babylonian Empire.

The ancient city of Babylon was its capital.

The rulers of the Chaldean Empire were:

 625 BC - 605 BC: Nabopolassar
605 BC - 562 BC: Nebuchadrezzar II
556 BC - 539 BC: Nabonidus

In 539 BC, Cyrus the Great made the Chaldean Empire part of the Persian Empire.
